Arrey no my friend, nothing of your quote was taken as negatively ... people are emotionally discussing some serious issue here ... we have taken certain parts of your comment and analyzed and discussed that ... that's only Smile

we have probably during long time a bad nationalism, to protect our language

That's exact Alicia, nationalism is never bad, it's the source of positive energy, and helps us to develop ... in my other thread I have specifically mentioned that this is what I like the most in the french culture and think we can learn from you - that self pride. 800 years of foreign rule and oppression has taken away a lot of this from us, and I hope soon we Indians will be as independent in Hindi as you are in French.

It's simple, every coin has two sides, but unless we are proud of ourselves and our culture, no civilization can develop. That's the raw material to develop. Personally, I have taken a lot of inspiration from your nationalism.

Dhurv no one is generalising your statement and taking it negatively . You wrote what you felt and we respect your view. Infact it may be true...This can happen anywhere. But what matters is how we put our view and point. It takes time to adjust and understand people. I too had difficult time from the day of arrival and till yesterday . Somone told INDIANS racist and all. I GAVE THEM BACK AND GOT APPOLOGY MAIL ,COMPENSATION OF 50 EURO,CEO OF THE COMPANIES THANKS MAIL AND FINALLY THE VERBAL APPOLOGY OF THE PERSON WHO INSULTED US..Sourav knows about this .SO it depends how you get your things done. Yes we have to be nice and honest . It can happen everywhere. I hope you remember when AT THE ERASMUS PARTY the bouncer was upset and was not allowing us to enter and then with broken french i managed .We 21 entered finally .....the only factor is we Indians are always polite and nice and expect same from others. so gets shocked when we do not get the same treatment.

Yes, I know the story, but it would be great if you share that with all of us here, as I feel that what you did was really courageous, and I am sure if you tell your story in details here (in a seperate thread, I mean) a lot of us will be inspired and get some positive energy for the future. Very Happy

Note:
By the way, I did not notice that both Dhruv and Naresh have crossed the 100 post mark ... congrates to both of you, you century makers Smile

Well i wish too but its too long and do not want to update things and name of the company and earlier companies name also who gave me trouble including govt organisation due to confidential reasons .They all appologised and as a gesture gave me some unasked compensations.For me appology letter and respect was important.Also it does not look nice to discuss in this forum about companies loop holes and issues...i can discuss verbally in G2G whenever you guys want....But its a request not to update about other countries issues in Forum for various reasons. I hope u guys can understand.

@sourav..
yup i saw ur post regarding indains...
but we are not discussing that..

well i guess going back to veda would be very difficult....
secondly about mixing with same culture goes..yup you are right..and thats what i feel is wrong..

I will share you one good thing about french, mexicans and other nationality guyz..
When i was searching for house in cite U...all this told me one thing..that dont go in indian house...they said that it will be like india only..They said that they will never prefer to be always(each and everytime) with same nationality people as they wont be learning about other cultures///
i too did not want to go indian house..not becoz i dont like indians...i luv indians..but once when you are out of the country you need to know different cultures, the way they live their life..their language etc...

@naresh
yup its right..its better we dont discuss here...it wont be good if everyone see that..

Repected Dhruv Sir .
If you feel that my views about ur comments have made you feel bad then I immediately tender my appology. my motive was not to make u feel bad or down . We are just discussing about issues with an open mind ..
Yaar I tell u . been to bangalore for an official trip and then in the evening I was invited by one of my bengali family friend . I had a torrid time speaking with a watchman. He was trying to explain me the flat number of Mr mukherjee. he could not speak english neither Hindi. imagine this happening in our own country and he is a young guy. So when I see an middle aged french guy giving me a could shoulder when I speak english .. just shrugg it off .. I think we should not have any bad feelings.

regards
bablubhai

ha ha ha...
are abhijeet..no yaar m not feeling ny bad about ur comments..infact i should apologise for putting my point so badly..
well taking ur experience..that watchman was trying to give u direction in spite not knowing common language...this is what i want..i mean even if you dont know language you should atleast try to help..
What i experienced here(only 2 times..dont generalize it) is that guy didnt even gave effort to help and was infact rude...THIS is my point

I would have prefered if he told me that he didn't knew the address .. please call me bablubhai here .. I told u that abhijeet is my twin brother .. Smile
