Alicia i was wondering its nice if we send answers to you by PM(messages) and then you can check and update here the individual answers and the corrections end of the day . This will help everyone to participate and help in learning. For example Melwyn tried to respond and it was nice of him to pariticipate and you corrected in no time. So incase someone wish to try would not be able to do due to updated answers already .

If you have some better idea it would be nice to come up with . If you would like to continue this practice i would update the answers here.

If you don't mind, i think it will be better to think for all, i mean it will be better to continue as before. Some people are perhaps shy, some people are trying to understand the evolution of lessons. So if you are giving me answers by pm, nobody apart me, will be able to read about it...... So lets continue as before and hope you'll don't mind for the reason i have given you about the fact, i prefer to continue like that....

Answers---

1) Weather was hot in summer in France. ---il faisait chaud en France. Quel temps a-t-il fait en France l'été dernier? How was the temprature in France last summer?
2) The poor cat is hungry. - Le pauvre chat a faim. Le pauvre chat a-t-il faim? The poor cat is hungry?
3) Les toilettes se trouvent sur votre gauche. -- The toilets are on your left. Où puis-je trouver les toilettes? Where i can find the toilets?
4) indian/pakistani food is delicious. - La nourriture indienne et pakistani est delicieuse.Comment est la nourriture indienne et pakistani?hows indian and pakistand food is? how do you find Indian and Pakistani food?
5) I'd like to go to an Indian cinema in Paris.- J'aimerais aller au cinéma indien. Where would you like to go in Paris? Où aimerais- tu aller a Paris?

As i have mentioned earlier that if i put answers here and you correct it immediately then no one would try or will get chance to participate. Also when i or who ever send PM to you this way you will have more participating and then later you can copy paste each and everyone's answers here with your each correction . .....This way you will recieve more answers and more participation . Because normally after putting answers and correction no one will be that keen or dare to reply on your CORRECT answers.Yes this will be a time taking work for you.

But if you are ok with this . Then i am happy to do my homework and reply here. Thanks for the response. Smile

What naresh suggested made sense parce que by the time I check it he has already answered the exercise ..so all i do i just go through it and memorize the new words.

Also the last two exercises were kind of my level ..Since its just the 2 of us and naresh is quite good at French ..it seems these exercises are too easy for him ..

SO maybe you could give exercises like the last couple of ones to me and a lil more difficult ones for naresh ?

Sending private answers to you will be too much of a burden to you as well ..

Let me know if its a good idea

In this case, the verb is a pronominal verb, its not trouver mais se trouver..... Its the reason need this se.

Put the words at their correct place....And translate the sentence after.

chien, os,mangé, a, le, son.

été, enfants, vacances, ont, les, en, deux, de, mois.

Find the good verb to put in the sentence....

Demain, ...... (aller) au marché.
Hier, le vieux monsieur, sur le banc, ......... (perdre) ses lunettes.

Demain j'irais au marché.

Hier, le vieux monsieur sur le banc, a perdu ses lunettes.

Excellent!

Big Bravo for Alicia who has taken the first step to teach french for u, people !

The smallest advice that I can give u, more u commit mistakes, more u will learn any language .

Don't bother about the accent, try to write words as u hear it! and Once u caught the meaning of these words u will easily retain by heart the way to write them without errors!

Pour des raisons de votre apprentissage, je ne vais me contenter de vous ecrire des phrases sans accents!
=> For the sake of your learning, I will write sentences without accents!

Je me leve tous les matins! => I wake up every morning
Je faits ma toilette! =>
Je prends mon petit dejeuner
Et je me dirige a mon lieu de travail

Juste pour vous rassurer, je suis le mari de padma, mon prenom est ramani
