Hello everyone!

Nice to find this forum; I'm going to be at Limoges (Limousin region) as an English-language assistant for the upcoming academic year (end September onwards). Hope to meet some of you, and if any people live thereabouts in Limoges or any nearby regions, it would be great to know you!

I hope both the French and the Indians in France extend me a warm welcome, and I can repay with my warmth and gratitude!

Hi Greatbear,

Welcome to France and Limousin, then !

Limoges is not a very big city (less than 200,000 inhabitants for the whole metropolis), so i would not take a bet on the size of the local Indian community... But it's a relaxed city, and the countryside around is very nice, so it should be a good experience of a typical mid-size French city !
