Hello friends,
Please share your experience to get family VISA,After getting married in marrie (pairs).
I am an Indian, now working in Netherlands( on work permit VISA )and my girlfriend living in France (she is a french citizen),we are planning to marry in paris.
After the marriage registration in pairs (marrie),
1. How to apply for family VISA in france and what is the procedure? (Since i am working here in Netherlands, would like to apply here in france )
2. Is it necessary to go to India and process family VISA from India (people told me that, it is a pain full procedure)or do they have any other procedure?
3.If i could get family VISA without going back to India, how long the VISA process could take?
Thanks,
sam

Hey,
Why not opt for marrying in Netherlands ? Get your marriage certified there and then send all documents to the French embassy. You can also go with your girlfriend to the French embassy. In this way, your marriage can be registered in French files. Then you do your procedures with French authorities in France. : )
