We will be discussing in this forum, helping each other, and then will meet time to time in our French learning get togethers to discuss things more seriously, and for having some fun time, of course. We have a few threads but the thread I would suggest would be french learning since the girl who is helping us, "Alicia" is more present there.

Yes i am interested in learning in french atleast the basic communication like asking adress,telling hello,etc. Actually i have registered for A level french class in Alliance Francise in bangalore but i have to postpone the course because of my trip here. In meantime if anyone could suggest me a website where i can learn french by voise and also a translator . It aill be very helpful because the Laptop given to me is also a French OS . So please help me at the earliest.

Actually Alicia was interested. But the problem was that we didn't get enough people who were serious. Well, at the beginning a lot of people showed interest, but as the class started slowly that interest faded away.

I'm not sure, probably it was simply lack of dedication, as most members of this forum are coming here for a year or two and not giving enough importance / feeling the need to learn the language, or there was a problem from my part to organize this, or probably there was a problem with the pédagogie.

well, maybe we could use the chat to make it more lively, everybody tries to speak in French, when someone makes a mistake, the others can try to correct and if noone can, I do it. We can start with something very basic like introducing oneself, then shift to situations and try to enact small dialogues..
What do you think?
