One of way of volunteering for the Indians in France ...

Well one way of volunteering for fellow Indians who are staying in France or Indians who are coming to France, could be to write anything that comes to your mind. Anything that relates to your stay in France, good or bad, write it. Share what you have gone thro', what you have learned, and what mistakes you did you think you would have liked to avoid.

Find an appropriate place, start a topic (or reply to an existing one) and keep writing whatever is coming to your mind.

If you are staying in a different place than Paris, you can see the type of topics in the Indians in Paris forum, and write similar things about your city.

Remember, whatever you have faced, new comers are probably going to pass through similar things. So, why not to warn them in case you think you did a mistake, and why not to inform them about how can they make their stay here the most enjoying possible.

Another way of volunteering could be to leave a link to this site to other forums you are visiting. That would make people aware about the existence of this site. A clickable link is always a better idea, as people often are lazy to copy paste an address to visit a site

Get involved. Together we can achieve a much bigger height.

One way to volunteer if you are still in India

In case you want to contribute to this cause while still in India, you can indeed do it in a very big way.

How? Well, while preparing for your trip you will visit many offices, may be the french cultural center of aurenzeb road, or the french embassy, or the alliance francaise, the indo-french chamber of commerce or many other offices that are somehow linked to India and France.

A simple page with the domain name of this site (www.IndiansInFrance.com) written in bold and big, with a small introduction of this site (whatever you feel), and a gum tube that you can buy for 5 rupees from the street corner can help this project wonderfully. Attach it to the notice boards of those offices when you visit there.

Small gestures like these can help many people know about this site, and you will do a great favor to many people around you, by bringing them together.

Thanks to all those who have put together this site...though Sourav's name is what i have come across in whatever little i have seen so far...The effort is enormous and i would like to be able to help Indian women based in or around Paris by experience sharing. I am not sure where to start from but would be glad to answer specific questions on learning language, getting around, integrating in French social life etc.
