Hello,
I am sorry if there is already one topic over this issue. I need to send some Euros (despite its falling every day) back home. I have an account with BNP. I just wanted to knwo if anyone knows better (cheaper) way to send money. I am more worried about exchnage rate than commission.
many Thanks

I use, remit2india.com
The cost is around 3-4 euros compare to 30 euros by bank and money arrives in 2-3days approx.. U have a possibility to insure your transfer rate too.
Have a look.

You have an affiliate link, which should be fine as a signature, but I think it is rude to post an unrelated answer - just so that you can try to make some bucks!
And why should people send a 5 Euro coupon and get a hundred or so rupees when one can utilise the services of Indian Banks to top up without any surplus surcharges?! _________________ http://www.localphone.com/call/india?rb=gjgFyfml0japVsZaiENay%2BSb%2F1RsIOssoxFZCgW5ePw%3D |

| I checked the remit2india website again. The procedure is well written. But it is not clear how much the local bank will charge for the wire transfer to remit2india account. Also, they are saying something about Deutsche Bank transfer, which is not too clear. Has anyone had any experience of transfering the money to India? Please share your experience! |

Hi,
I am from Remit2India and we checked to see typically how much a local bank would charge you.
This figure is different for each bank and we urge you to please contact your bank directly to clarify these charges.
We have 3 methods to transfer money from France which are Online Transfer, Wire transfers and Fixed Rupee Transfer.
Trust this should help you.
Partha
Please email info@remit2india.com for more information on this.

Hi Partha,
Thanks for your reply. Could please let me know where exactly the money has to be transfered. If you give me the account details and location of the bank, I will take it to my bank and ask them how much they would charge for the transfer. I have and account with credit agricole.
Cheers,

Hello
Since you are an existing customer with Remit2India - I suggest you email info@remit2india.com and they will be able to solve your query at the earliest.
Alternatively, please share your Registered Email id and A Number where we can reach you and I will have a relationship manager get back to you at the earliest.
I hope you understand that I cannot delve into such critical details on a public forum.
Warm regards,
