VOIP calls from Hotel wireless internet connection

Hi,

I've been in Paris for a week now and am staying in a hotel. Will be in the hotel for the next 2 months or so.

I'm using the hotel wireless internet connection to surf the internet. The problem I'm facing is that it's not allowing to make VOIP calls to India from skype/yahoo/msn messenger or gtalk. The message I get says "check your firewall settings" or "specify proxy server and port no".

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Do you use internet explorer for browsing? If not open IE and change LAN settings to automatic configuration script. This may help! Update!
