Find a Job in France

Hello everyone,

I realise this forum is indeed full of advice and information about so many aspects of life which make a lot of things easy in France. However, I feel the Jobs section is not much catered to. My apologies if you feel otherwise.

It would be great if one could obtain for all individuals there observations/thoughts/ideas on:

How should one go about Job hunting in France? Is it sufficient to check job-boards or are there places I could manage walk-in interviews as well.

Are there any agencies who one can interact with directly and are good for Indians wanting to take positions in France.

Ideas/advice for students wanting to do part time job would be welcome as well: is working in a restaurant good enough, are there pitfalls one should look forward to and avoid?

Every individuals thoughts/experiences would really add up. Even though I understand that finding a job is NOT easy but hinting at the direction one could take can help many a beleaguered souls.
