Paris has a lot of hostels. You can book a room there and later cancel it if you don't want to stay there. You can get a hostel reservation if you can spend about 10 euros. Even if you don't want to cancel your reservation, you lose Eur 100 to 200.
Alternatively, you can apply to another Schengen country (say the Netherlands) and land there and take a connecting flight to Paris. |

Hello,
I am an Indian student on a scientific visit in University of Nice and would like to invite my boyfriend for a visit to Nice from Inida.
He is planning to apply for a tourist visa and has proof of hotel bookings and has prepaid tickets. He is planning to opt for "cost of travelling and living during applicant stay is covered by his credit card" (in the application form) even though practically his living expenses will be brone by me.
Does this have to be mentioned in his visa request letter and do I need to send him a copy of my bank statements and my salary (stipend) slips? Is there a possibility for his visa to get rejected in this case?
Kindly post me your suggestions and comments.
Many Thanks,
S |

If both your names are mentioned in the attestation it can work I guess.
What you can do is in the covering letter mention that you will be staying with your wife - and mention the surface area of the apartment you have the attestation (for a couple it is 13 or so sq meters I think)
With embassies one can never know what they want and dont want. _________________ http://bit.ly/HTEZwR Call India at 77 Paisa! (Yes, this is a referral and I am greedy:)) |
