Advice regarding buying laptop

Hi friends,
I want to buy laptop, I know various sites (like pixmania...) and few showrooms (darty, fnac...)

1. AZERTY keyboard, I prefer QWERTY but not a big issue, obviously I can get used to AZERTY

2. I see all laptops with preinstalled Win VISTA Home edition in FRENCH (obviously )
I googled about 'changing language of Vista OS'
(mind you, I am talking about 'Display language' and NOT 'input language' ... which can changed throught Regional & language option.
So, what I learned is, its easy to change language in Vista Ultimate and Enterprise editions.
But for Home edition the solution proposed at many places were to install Vista in engilish.


Is this really some thing to worry about? Anyone has faced / solved this issue?

finally, i bought laptop and it turns out that to have english OS (and QWERTY keyboard) one has to go to DELL, as told by saurabh here...

i too recently bought a laptop., as far as i researched, dell is the only provider in france who can get u all the s/w in english and the keyboard either in english or french.

Try with hp website too, may be they provide english softwares and windows, but not sure. No store sells laptops with english s/w installed

For a buying a laptop,you check that many company's laptop available in market,and there a many facility 's like a blue tooth and a wireless device free they give and the free service and the better ram provide and this all facility you check and then buy a laptop.

There are so many company are available for sell its laptop in the market. In all I prefer the DELL and acer Laptop. But some other company laptop are also good. but you have to choose as per your requirement and purchase in your budget.
