Watch CNN-IBN and France-24 (English) without browser

To watch TV channels on Internet, we usually have to open the browser, i.e., Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, or the likes, and then open the relevant channel which we might have bookmarked.
A shortcut to this is if you install Google Desktop (link here)
Then choose the news channel (or anything else) you want from here

This is how it will look, this is my laptop screen:

Then you can choose the floating widget option or even drag it into the desktop area from the sidebar to get a good sized widget.

For France-24 (In ENGLISH)

And if you allow the google desktop to start with Windows startup, the moment you start your PC, the channels will start. Alternatively, you can disable startup entry, and pin the google desktop icon to start menu or as a shortcut on desktop, and start it when you wish. Like this:



Each of the tv widgets have their own start, stop and volume control buttons.
