There is no Indian maison in Grenoble..
but there are some other hostels n also its cheaper than paris i guess..
jus search in this fouram u might find some thing.. if i find ny thing in the mean while i'll update this thread! u r gonna come here in 2009 aug u still have a lot of time!

Hi Devendra,

Carte de sejour is residence permit which u will have from your perfecture.

Normally all the persons suppossed to have this carte de sejour entered in france with one visa of single entry. Have u already passed ur medical exam..

I have this friend who is Indian living Grenoble. I will ask him to join here in IIF and get in touch with you if you need any assistance with living in Grenoble.

Really July 2009 is really a long time. you will have quite a few Indians in Grenoble by then.. As it is there are over 20 to 30 that I know of. They all originated from India but were brought up in Madagascar however.
