Your suggestions are interesting ....but then one has to see how far it is feasible & good for our forum and if it's positive for the growth and meets the ethics and moto of the site., without complicating things.
It's nice of you to extend your offer to help ...Thanks on behalf of all...
In your profile your location is mentioned Bordeaux and Kanpur.
Where ever you are now....what you can do for this site is to let it be known to as many people as you can.
In India try to pass information of this site to French teaching schools and those students and professionals who are intending to come to France.
In France you can pass infos on this site to Indians in Bordeaux....there are many Indian restaurants and some yoga centers too where you may write a small note on the piece of paper and can post a small note on some wall or where they often have such boards.There are so many Indians and non Indians who look for informations and contacts and the majority still do not find easy to locate thr right source of informations. The site here is so active and informative and all the members are always happy to help each other with what ever guidance and infos one is looking for.
For younger people it's easy to find such sites , but there are many older people who are not that computer savy, but who look for informations and contacts ( about India and about Indians ) and this site has to be made known to them too...so that we can have more of Uncles and Aunties... ( Ashwini jee tusi Uncle declare ho gaye ho......fikar not...you are not alone ...me too I am in the same category and am trying to get some Grand pas and grand maas too to join us here ).
In bacchon ko bohat pyar aur care chahiye aur inko hamarey tarah Uncles and Aunties bohat pyar and care and guidance de saktey hain..! And now we will try to get some Grand Pas and Grand mas...to make the forum a complete family site....so that people of all age feel comfortable here and can participate in events without feeling the generation gap.

Hi Guys,
As you'll see in my other posts, I'm actually British, but living here in Bordeaux. I haved spent various long periods living and working in India, notably last year in Kanpur for the whole year. I am getting married to an Indian from Kanpur this summer and he will come to settle in Bordeaux.
There are two other Indians I have seen active on this forum from Bordeaux but I haven't met them yet. I think there are quite a few of them in total, I'm not sure!
In any case, since my soon to be husband will be here I'm trying to create links and learn as much about the difficulties for an indian moving here and of course the fun parts!
I will of course spread the word if I can for this site, but you know this type of thing goes round by "word of mouth" and blog links, as well as keyword google searches. I think the growth of the site of imminent! |

Sourav, I hate to say, 'I told you so', but look, how wonderful the results are of all your (pioneering) efforts. Thank you and good luck. I appreciate your vision and hard work.
Kudos also to all the other members who have contributed in numerous ways.
Now, I have a few questions, which might even sound silly. Thank you to anyone who takes out the time to solve my queries.
I am curious, what does the registration of a forum mean?
Secondly, why are you getting the cards and all done? Is it like for a person to carry, who will officially represent the forum?
