Hi all !
Hmmm ... there is no post in this part ... here is the first one, I hope that you won't mind ...
Why don't we put tamil words/sentences here ? are you interested ?
Well, I'm not a pro. in tamil ... but I'll do my best to share the few things that I know about this BEAUTIIFUL language that I love !!!!
First of all, Vanakam, for those who don't know the meaning of this word, its the equivalent of Welcome/Namaste.

Vanakam = Namaste = Welcome

My name is Cinthya = Yen perru Cinthya

(hmmm ... I'm not good at writting "tanglish" ... LOL)

IT IS A GOOD EFFORT BY YOU TO EXPOSE THE ONE OF THE VERY OLDEST LANGUAGES-THAMIZH(NOT TAMIL) OF INDIA.
IN A FOREIGN NATION.

OF COURSE MANY OF THAMIZH(TAMIL) SPEAKING PEOPLES FROM INDIA MOSTLY FROM SOUTH INDIA WOULD HAVE SETTLED IN FRANCE IN VARIOUS PARTS. IN THE COURSE OF THE LIFE STYLE THEY MAY NOT BE USING THE MOTHER TONGUE(THAMIZH)
AND THEIR WARDS WHO WOULD HAVE BORN IN THE FOREIGN LANDS DO NEVER KNOW THEIR OWN BASIC LANGUAGE. THIS MAY NOT BE THEIR MISTAKE. FOR SUCH FOREIGN BORN CHILDREN OF TAMIL ORIGIN MAY FAMILIAR WITH THE THAMIZH LANGUAGE. ONE DAY OR OTHER THEY WOULD HAVE TO BE THEIR MOTHER COUNTRY WHEN THEY WOULD NOT FIND DIFFICULT TO INTERACT WITH THE INDIAN BROTHERS/SISTERS. IS N'T IT? Thumbs up

I am fine. How are you? I am born and brought up in pondicherry India. I have a plan to settle in France. Where are you from? I would like to know something about france. I don't know French. I am a M.Sc IT graduate currently studying MBA. I wish to know current IT trend and job oppurtunity in France. Latest technologies like JAVA, .Net, Mainframe etc are growing need it IT industry. I would like to know the need and demand in france for IT industry.

I'm French from Paris, but I have some tamil friends (most of them coming from Pondicherry and Karaikal) and I'm also fan of tamil cinema...this is why i came to say Hi in this subsection... Cool

As for the questions you asked Mohana...I'm sorry but I'm not into IT so I don't know about the job market here in France...

We have lot of members from IT field which can give u a ot of useful informations. Why don't u post ur queries in general chat ? I afraid all members don't go frequently to regional chats.

Also try to come on on get together.

However, these days in france, IT is a good field in demand. You can go for some french local job sites like

www.apec.fr

These are special french sites addressed for managerial jobs.

If you need to speak in Tamil, go to the Temple, where you can find Tamilians, it's opened every saturday between 6:30 pm to 8 pm.
