Nope, googled as well, couldn't find anything on that. What this?

But while googling I found two interesting details on him.

1. He is also a novemberian like me. and

2. His adopted maternal grand father was Shah Nawaz Khan, the famed general of the Indian National Army (that fought against the British in the second world war with some help from the Axis powers). The chief of the Indian national army was probably the greatest Indian freedom fighter, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Com'n, don't tell me that you know about Fauji as well !!!

Thanks for the book. Yep, given that he has come to this world before me, it's rather I who's a novemberian like him.
Cheers

~ Grevin Museum welcomes Shah Rukh Khan ~
Official Unveiling of his second wax statue

by Kerstin Bergelt

Paris, 28thApril2008: It’s a early Monday morning when a small group of people is already waiting at Boulevard Montmartre in front of the Grevin Museum in Paris and nothing indicates what will happen only a few hours later. About one year before a similar occasion took place at the famous Mdm. Tussauds where Shah Rukh Khan – India’s most popular actor – was honoured with his first wax statue. This time he is in Paris because the Grevin Museum invited him for the official unveiling of the second one.

The waiting group is constantly growing and in the meanwhile the red carpet is rolled out and barriers are placed on the pavement on the right and left side of the museum’s entrance and also on the other side of the Boulevard Montmartre. More and more people are coming mainly Asians from India, Pakistan and others living in France but also fans from Germany, Poland an other European countries who travelled to Paris to get a glimpse of the King of Bollywood. For most of them it’s the only chance to see the King of their hearts since the celebration isn’t open for the public. Only the media and a few guests are invited. Even the Indian Ambassador in France is announced for the unveiling. Among the guests who have been kindly invited by the museum are four members of AsianOutlook.com and one of them is the lucky winner of an invitation for the unveiling of Shah Rukh Khan’s wax statue, determined in a drawing and kindly sponsored by the museum itself.

Finally it’s time for the invitees to enter the Grevin Museum where they get beautiful Jasmine flowers and little presents as an Indian welcome. In the main exhibition hall between the wax replica of Mahatma Gandhi, Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe Indian food and drinks are being served to the guests to shorten the time until the arrival of the guest of honour - and he arrives truly in style: 3.000 fans become completely mad and hysteric when the big white stretch limousine with him is driving along the barriers and stops at the red carpet one hour later. The guests already took their seats in the museum’s theatre expecting Shah Rukh Khan together with his beautiful wife Gauri, friend Karan Johar and others.

Entering the theatre Shah Rukh Khan looks very excited and with a shy smile receives a warm welcome by the audience and the museum’s officials. Laudations are being held by Béatrice de Reyniés from Grevin, the director Véronique Berecz and India’s ambassador M. Ranjan Mathai to honour the actor before some of the invited fans also get the chance to welcome him officially with a special award and some presents.

Finally Jean-Pierre Foucault - the host of the French version of « Who wants to be a Millionaire ? » enters the stage for the official unveiling. Indian dancers coming in with rose petals, the curtain opens and Shah Rukh Khan together with everyone else sees his wax replica for the very first time surrounded by Indian dancers and to the tunes of "Dhoom Taana" from his latest home production "Om Shanti Om" – The museum didn’t send him pictures of the final look in advance.

The only thing that is clear now is why the actor is wearing jeans, a white shirt and a black leather jacket. Its almost the same outfit his double is wearing. Huge applause is rising up seeing the perfect work the sculptor has done with his team.

A happy smiling Shah Rukh enters the stage to thank for the honour. It is very emotional especially when the actor tells about the early loss of his parents, building up his own family to get over it and about finding a new and much bigger family in his fans around the world which makes him feeling so special, loved and happy. From the bottom of his heart he promises them – who were coming from Germany, Poland, France and other countries - to keep dancing and singing as long as possible to make them happy and forget for at least 2-3 hours their daily worries. He is so moved by the final result that he bows to Stéphane Barret the sculptor and thanks him with a kiss on his hand in reverence for the great work he has done.

Now it’s time for the press to take pictures. Shah Rukh Khan examines his wax figure. For the great amusement of the public he even checks if the sculptor modelled his sixpack. Gauri and the others joining him on stage and after a while the actor answers some questions from the audience.

While the figure finds its final place in the main exhibition hall Shah Rukh Khan is getting a special museum tour and the audience is waiting as he should join them afterwards for a reception. It is almost 1 pm when Shah Rukh Khan is leaving the Grevin to greet his waiting fans at the red carpet again. The 3.000 going completely mad screaming, shouting and pushing so much that the security can’t hardly control the masses. A group of a hundred policemen is needed in addition, welcomed by the fans with huge applause. And Shah Rukh Khan? He tries his very best to get as close to his fans as possible, signs autographs, waves, sends flying kisses in each and every direction around him and even climbs the barrier that his fans get a better view of him. Then with a final wave and flying kiss he gets into the white limousine and drives away greeted by the masses.

What a morning in Paris! Véronique Berecz, the museum’s director had to admit in her honouring speech that not even for Michael Jackson the Grevin Museum got so many e-mails, phone calls and letters from all over Europe in advance as they got for the official unveiling of Shah Rukh Khan’s wax figure.

Thanks Sabine Dhanyavad for the report...It makes me feel I was There...It seems that all agree to say that he's a very nice person...even when he has a tight agenda, he takes time to meet his fans.

Bravo Mister King Khan

absolutely, that's why he's such a big star, he considers that when his fans spend several hours waiting in the street for him, they deserve at least to see him "close" and to have the possibility to take pics and films

of course, the first ones are available on AO (the ones taken from the outside) I was planning to ask the owners if they don't mind showing them here too. I still haven't found time to work on the one I took inside

none, upload sites like magaupload, zshare, ........ and we post the link so people can download the video, that way they can keep it if they want and it doesn't slow the forum down. SO for the Grevin video, if the owners agree, I can post the link here.
